What is the Bianchi Cup?

So I got an invitation to compete in the NRA Bianchi Cup. I am wickedly blessed and honored to get one, they only give out a few hundred WORLDWIDE. Some of you are wondering what the heck it is so from Wikipedia....

The Bianchi Cup is the NRA National Action Pistol Championship, a major Action Pistol tournament held over three days in late May, in Columbia, Missouri at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club. It has the largest purse of any tournament on the action pistol calendar and is the premier action pistol championship tournament in the world. The Bianchi Cup is the only major shooting tournament that has retained its original course of fire since its inception.
It is one of the most prestigious events in shooting, with the best shooters in the world in competition each May in Missouri. Due to the high accuracy required in each stage, the tournament is widely considered one of the most difficult championships in all of the shooting sports.

This is basically like being asked to play in the same golf tournament as Tiger Woods. All of the shooting superstars in the Action Shooting Community compete here. I expect to give a strong showing, probably not win, I mean seriously... the winners shoot 192 rounds and get a perfect score of 1920, the winner is usually decided on how many X's  are fired.

I am going to use this blog to bring you guys along as I choose what gun and division to shoot, as I train and compete in other matches leading up to it.
